Anxiety Therapy · Serving All of Ontario Online

Online anxiety therapy — evenings and weekends, from wherever you are in Ontario.

Anxiety has a way of shrinking life: the invitations declined, the conversations rehearsed at 3 am, the constant scanning for what might go wrong. If that's where you are, you don't have to carry it alone. Anxiety is one of the most treatable concerns we work with, and treatment doesn't require adding a commute to your week.

How we work

Every person's anxiety behaves differently, so we match the approach to yours rather than forcing one method on everyone.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

The most researched approach for anxiety. Map the loop between anxious thoughts, body sensations, and avoidance, then systematically test what your anxiety predicts against what actually happens.

EMDR

When anxiety traces back to distressing experiences, EMDR helps the brain reprocess those memories so they stop setting off present-day alarms. Delivered virtually using adapted protocols by an EMDRIA advanced-trained clinician.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Treats anxiety as a protective part of you working overtime. Instead of fighting the worry, get curious about what it's guarding.

All sessions are online via secure video (Zoom, Google Meet, or Jane), trauma-informed, and evidence-based.

Common questions

Does online therapy actually work for anxiety?

Video-delivered CBT for anxiety has repeatedly shown outcomes comparable to in-person treatment in research. What matters most is the method, the therapist's training, and the fit between you — which is exactly what the free consultation is for.

How many sessions will I need?

There's no honest one-size answer, and Ontario's rules rightly prohibit therapists from promising outcomes. Most people know within two or three sessions whether the approach and the fit feel right, and we review progress together as we go.

What if I'm nervous about the first call?

That's anxiety doing its job — and it's the most normal thing in the world. The consultation is 15–20 minutes, free, and there's no pressure to commit. It's a conversation, not a commitment.
